You can choose from thousands of Lenses, including classics made by Snapchat and fresh designs from the Lens Creator community.

Do I need a Snapchat account to use Snap Camera?
Nope! You can use Snap Camera without a Snapchat account.
Which applications work with Snap Camera?
Snap Camera can be used with the world’s most popular streaming platforms like Twitch, as well as with apps like Google Hangouts and Skype.
Most apps that can use your webcam will work with Snap Camera.
What are the system requirements to run Snap Camera?
Most computers made in the last few years can run Snap Camera just fine. Here are the specific system requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 (64 bit); MacOS 10.11+
- Hardware: Minimum of Intel Core i3 2.5Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6Ghz with 4 GB RAM; Intel HD Graphics 4000 / Nvidia GeForce 710 / AMD Radeon HD 6450; screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher

I can’t select Snap Camera as the input in Chrome or another app. What should I do?
You may need to restart apps that were already running when you installed Snap Camera. This will help the apps recognize Snap Camera and work properly.
Can I favorite Lenses using Snap Camera?
Yes! Tap the star icon on the top left corner of the Lens tile to add it to your favorites. Learn more about favoriting Lenses.

Can I use a hotkey to switch to another lens?
Yes! You can assign hotkeys to any Lens in the Snap Camera settings.
Hotkeys allow you to activate your Lens without switching back to the Snap Camera interface. Check out the Configure Trigger Hotkeys section in the Settings guide.
What is a Custom Trigger?
Some Lenses have special animations or effects that are 'triggered' by what you do, like smiling, talking, or pressing a key.
A trigger notification will be displayed on the Snap Camera anytime you use a Lens that has a trigger like this.
Use the trigger to change the Lens and see what happens! Check out the Custom Triggers section in the Settings guide for more info.
I can’t find a specific Lens to use with Snap Camera. Where is it?
The Lens you're looking for may not be approved yet, or it may not be compatible with Snap Camera.
If you made a Lens and it was rejected, please review the community Lens guidelines.
How do I create a Snap Camera Lens?
How do I share a Lens?
Every Snap Camera Lens has a Snapcode and a Lens link. These unlock the Lens directly in Snapchat so you can use it and send it to your friends.
Click the menu button on the top right corner of the Lens tile to download the Snapcode, or copy the Lens link to share. Learn more about sharing Lenses.
